It’s sad that it has come to this but on sponsorship from Ros Bates MP we are now petitioning Qld Government to fund RCLC for a coordinator and practice manager. We are grateful to have the support of all Gold Coast MP’s, Mayor Tate and local Councillor Jan Grew.
Funding RCLC leverages more than $1 million in donated volunteer goods and services – from committee, volunteers and a host of supporters in the legal, university, local government and general community. It saves state and federal Government much more than that in preventing legal and associated problems from getting worse – financially and socially.
There are countless local and nationwide studies including the recent Productivity Commission report which prove the case for funding a CLC like Robina.
Please share this post and print off the attached petition form and ask everyone you know to sign up. They can be returned by hand delivery or to PO Box 1310, Southport Qld 4215.
Please also share the electronic petition URL by social media http://www.parliament.qld.gov.au/work-of-assembly/petitions/e-petition?PetNum=2535
