As you would be aware from reading our home page, RCLC was founded as an initiative of the Gold Coast District Law Association and remains a volunteer-only organisation.

For many years there has been no alternative Gold Coast community legal service to the one based in Southport.  So for example the other party to a matter may have been conflicted out and had to seek a CLC in Brisbane.  There could be important consequences in any of the matter types we handle such as a: family, domestic violence, crime or civil dispute matter.

We also have capability in some areas not covered by other CLC’s such as in micro business and immigration law.

Robina Community Legal Centre, although fully NACLC accredited is in great need of funding partners to support hiring a principal lawyer and administrative assistant.  This will allow our volunteer practitioner and student team to concentrate on servicing vulnerable and disadvantaged Gold Coasters in need.

We are happy to remain a volunteer-based service to the community.  Funding and Donations go a long way with RCLC.  Please help us by:

  • Applying for Membership
  • Speaking with your local Member of Parliament about government Funding of our service
  • Encouraging your local Chamber of Commerce and businesses to Get Involved as a donation Benefactor or Partner

Thank you sincerely
